About
Olympia Scott, Certified Master Life Coach, 2-Time WNBA Champion, US National Team Gold-Medalist, Stanford University Hall of Fame Inductee, Entrepreneur, Motivational Speaker, Published Author and Patent-Holder
Olympia Scott made history as the first woman to win WNBA Championships with two different teams, earning titles with the Sacramento Monarchs in 2005 and the Phoenix Mercury in 2007. She also blazed a trail as the first player in league history to compete, get married, have a child, and return to action, setting the standard for mothers in professional women’s basketball. A founding member of the Women’s National Basketball Players Association (WNBPA), she served on its Executive and Negotiating Committees, helping to shape the rights and future of players.
Before her 10 seasons in the WNBA and 12 seasons across six European countries, Olympia earned a full scholarship to Stanford University. She was a four-year starter, team captain, All-Pac-10, All-American, and a finalist for the Naismith Player of the Year Award. She earned her degree in Sociology and joined Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She also represented the United States, winning a gold medal at the 1997 World University Games, and was inducted into the Stanford University Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013.
Though her basketball career closed, Olympia’s influence only expanded. Today, she is a charismatic keynote speaker, entrepreneur, published author, patent-holder, mentor, and Certified Master Life Coach. With contagious energy and a message rooted in hope, purpose, and responsibility, she inspires audiences worldwide to “change the game” in their own lives.
For more than a decade, Olympia has studied and practiced life coaching. She holds certifications in life purpose, transformation, neuro-linguistic programming, cognitive-behavioral therapy, goal-setting, group and strategic life coaching, happiness, and employee engagement. Her coaching philosophy was forged in the fire of her own transitions, from overcoming a near career-ending knee injury to navigating retirement from professional basketball and redefining her identity beyond the game.
Olympia often speaks about “assignment,” her belief that we are all here to deliver God’s blessings through our gifts. Her assignment is clear: helping people discover their life purpose, embrace transformation, and maximize their impact on the communities they serve. Just as athletes thrive with great coaching, she believes everyone can win at the game of life with the right guidance.
One conversation with Olympia and you’ll know she’s not only a champion on the court but a coach for champions off the court. Her mission is simple but powerful: to help you change the game you’re playing and win the right way.
